How long does it take to install each module?
The modules can be installed within a few days of receiving the down payment. Average installation and network/security setup is 1-3 hours per module.
How much time will the IT department need to spend supporting and maintaining the modules?
The IT department will be involved in setting up the folders and user permissions for the application files (approx 1-3 hours) as well as ensuring that daily backups are performed. Systemtek Consulting will manage the rest of the maintenance, training and support for the application.
Can we transfer our data from existing systems/documents?
Very likely, data migration is usually done as required for a separate fee.
How much training is required?
The modules are very intuitive, consistent and simple to use. Training requirements are minimal. We can provide group or one-on-one training sessions, depending on the number of staff members to be trained. One day of training is included with each module.
Do I need to purchase a license for each user?
No, there is a one-time license fee for each module per site.
What are your support hours?
Real people answer the phones from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time Monday to Friday.
Why are the modules such a great deal?
The modules have been priced at less than 10% of the actual development cost to make them more affordable for small to medium sized police agencies. The average cost for comparable applications is usually $50,000-$100,000+ per module. The average cost for the IPDMA modules ranges from $2,000-10,000.
Can the modules be customized?
To take advantage of the automatic updates, it is ideal to use the standard version of the modules, however customization is available for an additional fee. Please feel free to ask for a quote if needed.
Why are the modules priced individually?
Individual modules allow each police agency to purchase any combination of modules that they will find most useful. Additional modules can be purchased and integrated with the other modules at any time.
Do I need to purchase Microsoft Access to use the modules?
No, Microsoft now provides a free run-time version of MS Access which means the users do not need to purchase a copy of Access.
